From the story of those who saw her being born, comes the profile of the development of an idea that is worth a life time

Mrs. Adriana Titton made me sit down in front of her big desk. She told me (with pride) that the many photos that filled the shelves of some beautiful furniture placed next to her workplace were of her two grandchildren and that she had lived in symbiosis with Mei for twenty-five years.

She picked up the phone to ask for the tea I had chosen to be brought; she announced that she didn´t want to receive any phone calls or interruptions and, smiling, offered me her cooperation in the meeting. The smile is a constant in her expressiveness and is the personal way she relates to everyone.

When was Mei born?

The company was born on February 13, 1988, in San Vendemiano (TV), in a very small place, with a group of people who, like me, believed in prevention with natural products. That´s when the company´s philosophy was born: "Nature gives us wellness, correct information makes us choose better", remembering that wellness is the state of balance of all personal psycho-physical potentialities.

Where does your belief in natural products come from?

Before the Mei experience, I was involved in healthy eating and had already made the motto "we are what we eat" my own. I have always taken care of myself with natural products and the continuous experiences and testimonies, collected during all these years in contact with families, have given me the strength to continue to talk about wellness and prevention with plants and herbs.

How did you spread the Mei philosophy on natural products for better living?

By creating the figure of the Mei Consultant: a professional who is enthusiastic about natural products and wants to talk about them. People became consultants after having been loyal customers. They began to tell others about their positive experiences with Mei products, and so testimonials became a profession. Careful training and constant updating gave the basis for the work of the Consultant.

Do the consultants of 1988 still work with you?

Yes, certainly, they are Mei´s best business card! I remember those who, from the beginning, are still working: Paola Bandiera, Loredana Battistoni, Milena Cunico, Dina Dal Cin, Clara Levis, Ubaldina Manera, Gianna Pizzato, Lucia Zandonà and Carmela Raciti. They are my "senators for life", who have been working still and well, for twenty-five years, in the areas where Mei was commercially born: Veneto and Sicily.

How did you train your first sales force?

The training of the consultants was carried out side by side: they stayed with me while I presented the products to their families. Then, there were weekly meetings: every Saturday. For the first "sales force" it was a very hard experience, but one that was lived with overwhelming enthusiasm. Let´s not forget that it was 1988 and we were seen as the "witches" with big pots for every mixture. However, the incredible strength of the product (which prevented common ailments or helped people feel better), combined with advice on healthy eating, did the rest.

How is training done today?

Roberto Paladin, my son, provides the herbalist skills; the fundamentals of Wellness (massage - movement - nutrition) are provided by Mei´s Scientific Director Prof. Giuseppe Mazzocco; while communication, marketing and organization of the activity is my specialty. The company has grown and therefore it is no longer possible for me to follow all of the consultants "vis-à-vis", which is why the figure of the Manager has been established, who is entrusted with the search for new consultants and weekly updates in the various areas of Italy. On the other hand, monthly management meetings are held with the company.

How many consultants are there in which areas? And who follows them?

There are more than 200 throughout Italy. They are followed by the Managers Annarosa Costariol, for the province of Treviso; by Elena Piacentini, for Lodi; by Enza Cirulli, for Monza; by Carmela Raciti and Annamaria Caruso, for Catania; by Gianna Negrello, for Bassano del Grappa and by Agata Grasso, for Vittoria. I want to make an applause to these close collaborators of mine that, besides taking care of the relationships with the clients, they devote themselves to the development of the sales force. Let´s say that they are my "guardian angels" on the territory.

Adriana Titton is a person who believes, blindly, in what she does; she does her job very well and is an example and an inexhaustible source of energy for all those around her. She has given me the opportunity to fully understand and agree with the definition of "LADY MEI".
