Cellulite, year after year, is the result of this process, aggravated by eating disorders, sedentariness, smoking, alcohol and drug therapies. The final suffix "ite" makes us realize that we are not just dealing with an unsightly blemish, but with an inflammatory state, in many cases even painful. In fact, the more cellulite takes root, the more it causes circulation problems and pain on contact, all aggravated by orange peel skin, which is only the external signal, the one that the body sends out to sound the alarm and invite us to take the necessary countermeasures.
The cells of the panniculus adiposus become inflamed, dilate, obstructing the natural flow of blood and lymph, blocking the precious exchange. This is why the part stagnates physiological fluids and feels cold to the touch.
How to intervene?
Mei, which has been in contact with women for 25 years, has studied a specific treatment that over time has become a true "classic", known as the "FiordiPelle Line". A springtime warhorse to make the infamous "swimsuit test" less frightening. The mainstay of the treatment is the START UP mud mask: a complex product rich in precious natural components that deserves to be told. Mud bathing is the technique that inspired us, because it has always been the most effective way to tackle the problem. There are two types of mud: mineral and algae-based. The former exploit the natural properties of a certain type of soil, while the latter rely on the stimulating action of the iodine in the algae. Mei´s research started from this evidence, enriching it with its own specialty: herbal extracts and essential oils. START UP, in fact, is not a common mud, but it is a phytopreparation made with Italian Green Clay, three types of algae and 7 essential oils: Orange, Fennel, Cedar, Thyme, Peppermint, Juniper and Arnica Montana. The ingredient, however, that lights up the product, transforming it into an active mud that can carry the essential oils under the skin, is the macerate of Turmeric and Ginger in organic apple vinegar, prepared separately and combined with the other ingredients only in the final composition of the product. An action that has been certified, also in the professional field, with the research for the creation of the PMP-Phytomassopodia ® method, for which the START UP was one of the starting points. From it was born the specific mud for the PMP method, currently used in the most important international SPAs.
START UP is a professional product that must be used correctly. First of all, before application, it is essential to purify the skin with the Toning Emulsion that removes heavy metals, toxins and dead cells, allowing the phytofango to penetrate more effectively. After removing the scrub, the mud should be spread with the special spatula and covered with a plastic or non-woven cloth. You don´t need a large amount, so it´s not the thickness that affects the result, but the uniformity of distribution on the skin. In just 25 minutes the product is already active.
During the application time, sensations testify to its effectiveness. Heat, cold and tingling sensations should not frighten you, but rather correspond to the three stages of action of the product: the first is the absorption of inflammation with the Clay; the second is reactivation with the Algae and the third is drainage with the essential oils to restore microcirculatory exchange. The more chronic the cellulite, the stronger these sensations can be.
The closure of the treatment, after having removed the bandages and rinsed the mud with cold water, is the application of Juniper Gel, also from the FiordiPelle line, which completes and maintains the result triggered by START UP.
