The smile: a treasure to be preserved

The emotional state that comes from smiling is a code of behaviour that preludes an approach of serenity and openness towards others. Teeth, an asset if they are healthy, are the "static components" of the smile that illuminate the void created by the opening of the lips and communicate the idea of health. The "health" of the smile passes through dental prevention, just as a good digestion starts from a correct chewing, remembering that "prima digestio fit in ore" (the first digestion takes place in the mouth). Solid food substances are, first, chewed with the teeth and, then, mixed with saliva. That´s why teeth are primary components of digestion; that´s why their health must be preserved. Dental prevention, as the set of actions aimed at reducing the risk of adverse events, is focused on the adoption of behaviors that must lead to the preservation of the "heritage" of teeth and not only of the smile. The primary prevention of the teeth passes through the habit of brushing (mechanical action) with products that have recognized bactericidal and antiseptic properties, so that even the inside of the mouth can have the right protection. In nature, the product par excellence that "defends" better is Propolis, produced by bees that make it from the buds and barks of trees and make it in a mixture that varies depending on the seasons and vegetation. The toothpaste, "the soap of the teeth and the oral cavity", can only have, as a primary component, a good Italian Propolis titrated, clean of all impurities and extracted by ultrasound, without solvents and alcohol. This is the only way to ensure that Galangin (the active principle of propolis), with constant use, is maximally effective in fighting infections. Mei Toothpaste with Propolis (without fluorine, surfactants and preservatives), however, has not only the power of Galangin, but also the anti-tartar efficacy of Sage and Mint, which strengthen the gums. However, the most powerful mechanical action is made by Green Clay which, besides being a powerful purifier, offers, with its granules, the most correct action to eliminate any form of residue and to massage the gums. The brushing action, carried out from the top down (above) and from the bottom up (below), serves to remove plaque (white-yellowish film, composed of bacteria and food residues) and tartar, between the teeth and on the gum line. For this reason, the toothpaste must have very small rounded parts that mechanically remove plaque and tartar. Here is the advantage of Green Clay: precious micro-bodies that remove all forms of added patina, without attacking tooth enamel, but smoothing its surface. PropolMei, a non-alcoholic spray enriched with Ribes Nigrum, completes the action of protecting the oral cavity, sprayed several times a day, assisted in the prevention of diseases of the upper respiratory tract, sore throat and cough, by Mei Propolis tablets. Have a good smile, with protected teeth.
